Why Nametests on Facebook are demonic

Satan makes sin seem so innocent. 

If you use Facebook as a social media platform, you may have seen or may have even used the popular nametest app. If you are not very familiar with this app, it essentially gives you the chance to click on any prompt from "Who will be your mate", to "What will happen to you in such year", "What will your future look like" to "What year will you die" to even telling the amount of children one will have.

I want to say first and foremost, the app seems to be very innocent hence why I myself have used it once or twice (before this conviction came in my heart) to determine 'what angels were saying about me' and 'what my spiritual gift was' (as if I hadn't a clue). Thousands of Christians have fallen for this as well.

The reason why I am writing this blog is because satan has found a way to creep into every aspect of life. The spirit of divination has seemingly settled quite comfortably among non believers and quite frankly, believers. The spirit of divination is seeking knowledge of the future or the unknown by supernatural means. There are many examples in the Word of God where God speaks against such demonic force. In Deuteronomy 18:10, the Lord says “There shall not be found among you . . . anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens.”

To make matters even clearer, in Leviticus 19:31, the Lord gives us a command stating "don't turn to psychics, or mediums to get help about the future." Nametest, although seem innocent, is sin. Divination in any form is sin. Unless if you are consulting God to ask about the points regarding your future, you are most likely functioning in the spirit of divination. Nametests are not a harmless form of entertainment, and no, it cannot be used as an alternative source of wisdom. It is a sin.

I urgently ask all Christians who have turned to nametests as a way of entertainment and play to REPENT. This is not for the faint of heart. If you have not gotten the conviction, ask God to reveal the truth to you just as He has with me. He will speak to your heart and you will know the truth. After all, His truth is light and darkness cannot overcome Him.

The Holy Spirit is pure and nothing that resembles darkness can stand in His presence. Share this word so that others may come out of spiritual darkness into God's light.

Turn up The Volume of God's Voice

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for your child reading this, Lord I know you give Grace to the humble and you oppose the proud, right now, I pray that you will humble your child by decreasing the volume of the world while increasing the volume of your voice. Lord we know that all good things come from above, right now, as I touch and agree with your word, I pray that you will strengthen the spiritual man of every person reading this message, so that their lives will be impacted to impact others. In Jesus, Mighty, Wonderful, Name I pray. Amen.

Scripture of Focus: And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you, and will be in you."  (John 14:16-17)

Hearing the voice of God is one of the most meaningful ministries one can have personally. As Christians, whether young or mature in the faith, we sometimes go through seasons. Those seasons are often times predictable and other times not so much. But we can all agree that they are all testing times. When we go through the spiritual peaks, we are able to 'hear' God and those times usually seem to be the most promising as those moments bring a sense of accomplishment and growth.

But there are those days when peaks seem to deliquesce and we wonder if God is still there. During those seasons of  drought, God's voice to us seems to be less than a vapor in the wind. We find our selves tossing and turning, yearning for more-because that still, yet big voice inside of our Spirit Man calls us for more! The truth is, God is always present.  Even in your driest season, He is there. God the Father has sent to His church a helper-The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth. Even in your times of trial and tribulation, The Holy SpiritF, our comforter is there to bring revelation to our spirits concerning the matters of God's promises to us.

In John 10:27, Jesus quotes "My sheep know my voice, I know them,and they follow me." Notice Jesus did not say they 'desire' to be with me or that they 'want' to be with me-but rather "They Follow Me." Now that's a statement! In order to hear God in all seasons, you have to sacrifice your time, your mind, the volume of the world to focus on His voice. He has promised that He will never forsake us. He is there through our peaks and valleys. He speaks to us always-but we only hear if we follow His truth and His truth alone. There are many temptations and distractions that sometimes come our way causing to repulse or step away from God's plans for us. One thing that we must always remember is that God's voice should precede anything of this world. The Holy Spirit has been given to us as a counselor. In our times of drought, He is there to counsel us back to high ground-but we must have the patience to not only hear God, but to act out His Will and Purpose for us.

I believe it is Heaven's intentions for us all to be blessed. Matter of fact, Jesus Christ became poor so that we may be rich, not just with our material things, but above all, for us to be rich Spiritually so that we can withstand the prince of this world and stand in His Will. The most important step we need to take in order to really follow Him is to unconditionally give our hearts, minds and souls to Him in the good times and the not so great times-because after all, He is shaping us for Heaven and we must be ready when the day comes.

The next time the world cranks up its volume, make sure you have Heaven's sound proof system to turn up God's voice even more.

Nails To Die For

Hello dear reader! Once again, thank you for choosing to read my blog. As Holy week is upon us, many of us are scrambling to find the perfect dress and suits for church on Easter Sunday. Many of us are still not even sure why we celebrate Holy Week, while others are just in it for Easter Candy. But what exactly is Holy Week and why is it so important to you in me?

Before we start let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, Author of the Heavens and the Earth, we come in your name and we thank you for your mercies and your Grace. We thank you Lord for your love that transpired through the Cross where you led your only Son Jesus to bleed and die for our transgressions. Lord we know that it is by your wounds we are able to have our being. We thank you for the ultimate sacrifice of your one and only Son Jesus Christ. I pray Lord, that every person who is reading this will get pure revelation of your Sacrifice. I thank you God for your Son Jesus Christ. In His Name I pray. Amen.

Verse of Focus: Romans 4:25 "He [Jesus] was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification"

I am sure the heading of this blog got you maybe interested knowing that I don't usually write about fashion. "Nails to Die" is actually not about fashion but rather a juxtaposition to Jesus Christ being NAILED to the cross: for our sins. Everyday, we have choices. We have the choice to wake up, go to school/work and go about our day. But these choices are barely the makeup of who we are. We were bought with a price and ransomed by the Ultimate Sacrifice. And what exactly is this sacrifice and how do you know if you 'qualify'.


I am sure each and everyone of you have in one point in time in your life heard of John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His ONLY begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." This is the greatest Sacrifice. Imagine God, sitting on His throne, thinking about you and I and thinking about our sins and transgressions. He then decides to give up His Son for you and I. You don't have to imagine for long because this is what He did. He saw in our sinful nature that we would not be capable of pleasing Him because the nature of the flesh is sin. Because of this, He orchestrated Heaven and the Earth to welcome Jesus,to come and to carry on His shoulders (literally) our sins and inequities.

How do you know if you're 'qualified' to be covered by His sacrifice? Well, You're not. Yes, sorry to break it to you, but you and I were not qualified-until Jesus Died on the cross. His Grace is sufficient. It is all you need! With His nailed pierced Hands, with the final breath He gave, He announced "It is Finished!" That means, you are NO LONGER UNDER CONDEMNATION of Sin. If you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart, you are covered by His Grace.

Can you think of a love that is so deep and so wide, that it would sacrifice all that it is for you? Has anyone ever made promises just to end them in broken empty nothings? Well God is a Sovereign God and "He is not a man to lie" (Numbers 23:19) He has made the greatest exchange for your life. He sacrificed His son for you by taking away your transgressions, exchanging it for Life. He changed your ashes to beauty and made you the light of the world and the salt of the earth. The holds of satan have no power over you because You have been bought with a precious price-the Blood of Jesus.

Accept this Great Sacrifice and make the decision today to give Him your life and your heart. That is all He has ever wanted, an available heart, willing to seek Him Faithfully. Can God Count on you today?
