Pressing Towards a Higher Calling!

Hey there! Thank you for joining on with us today. I know it has been a while but I hope that this blog will help you in reaching and identifying your highest calling today. Before we start let us pray.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for this young man/woman that is reading this blog today. I pray Lord that you will sharpen his/her sight that she/he may receive a divine revelation through your word today. I pray Lord that you will renew their spiritual insight and that they will see past their natural state and abilities and will learn to rely on you to help them in reaching your highest calling for their lives. 

Verse of Focus: 
"I press towards the mark for the prize for the high calling of God in Jesus Christ" Philippians 3:14

A new year is up ahead and you are probably thinking about this past year and your accomplishments and failures. You're probably thinking about some things you might want to do just before the year ends and are maybe jotting down in your mind some ideas about some changes you would like to see in your life this upcoming year. Hopefully in your planning you have allowed God to speak to you about His plans for your life. It is a good thing to plan ahead, but it is even a greater thing when we are able to understand that truly "the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in His ways." Psalm 37:23 Too often times, we think, we plan, then we decide, only to find that our plans do not prevail because we neglected to invite the Holy Spirit to have His way. Don't worry, this blog is not just another blog about your new year wishes. Rather, it is about you pressing towards the highest calling of God! Yes You!

So what exactly is God's highest calling for us and how can we identify if we are living accordingly? The bible says that "many are the plans of men, but it is only the purpose of God that will stand." Proverbs 19:21 In understanding this verse, we have to first understand that there are different 'wills' of God. For the purpose of understanding and contrasting, we will focus on the perfect and permissive will of God. God's perfect will is unchangeable! The permissive will of God is what He uses to test His true sons and daughters. In 2 Timothy 4:7, Paul says "I have fought the fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." The fight Paul is noting in this scripture is his walk according to both the perfect and permissive will of God.

Each and everyone of us has a calling. The enemy sometimes tries to trick us into thinking that "we don't have any purpose" and that "we will never be able to defy the odds." But that is a bold lie! No wonder why the devil is called the accuser of the brethren! He makes you think that you have no purpose and that you are just another person walking through the cycles of this life. I am here to tell you that, that is not so! When God created the earth, the Holy Spirit witnessed Him making plans about your life. He made plans about who you would be-He even saw your deepest hurts and guess what?. . .He was there!

We can look at God as a provider rather than supplier. The reason being is because when He manufactured you, He provided every part He saw you would need for the days ahead. "Suppliers supply on demand, God  provides in advance." Rebecca Jean

God has a higher calling for your life. you are not just a body filling up empty space. He founded you and created you in His image to do great works. The bible says that we should be able to do miracles, healing, wonders just as Jesus did. Jesus Himself said that greater works we will do now that He has gone up to see the father! So what are you waiting for to walk in that higher calling? Is it a lack of faith? Is it a lack of prayer?  Is it your disbelief? Is it pride? Is it you family? Is yourself? Whatever the case may be, God has a higher calling for your life. He has provided you the gifts in advance. It is your time to walk into the timing and the perfect will of the Lord for your life. 

Get RIGHT or get left!

Dear heavenly Father, you who sits on the highest thrones, we come before you today, to thank you for your word which brings a new revelation to us each time we read it. We thank you Lord God, because our sins are forgiven and our eyes are now unveiled. Allow us to step into true communion with you, Lord that we may fully comprehend the things of your Kingdom. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen

Verse of focus: 2 Timothy 3:1-5
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

I am sure you have been watching the news lately and have seen some of the most catastrophic news! The level of recklessness has sky rocketed in the past month alone.  It seems to me, every time the news comes on, there is a homicide (or a mass killing). Well why is this all happening? THE END IS NEAR! When I was younger, I used to hear about how the world as we know it, was coming to an end. Back then, those "rumors" were nothing but mystical theologies. That was before I came to know the Lord of course. Now, through the revelation of the Holy Word of God, I come as a witness of the Word to tell you truly, THE END is near! You may not, actually you won't want to believe this because all of your life you were probably taught to "live it up" because "your best life is now." With all due respect, if you are one of those people, you are blinded and are in darkness and are need of the truth (John 14:6). The Bible clearly states that these devastating circumstances would happen. In Luke 21:32 it says "truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all has taken place." So you see, it is not in our power to stop those things-but you know what is in our power, our choosing to get RIGHT with God or to get left behind!

Everyday, God gives us ink and a blank page and what we do with that page is our choice. Granted some things we cannot prevent, but the standard for living right is black and white (i.e, Philippians 4:8). To further prove this, in Lamentations we see that "the steadfast love of the Lord NEVER ceases. His mercies are new every morning!" Not every month-not every year-but daily! I know in the midst of all the chaos it can be difficult to keep focus. But thank the Lord for our comforter the Holy Spirit!

Friends, family, and loved ones, we are in a battle! Ephesians 6 gives us the protocol for battle. You cannot go into battle naked. We are in a battle because we know that the struggle of the world (and ourselves) is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against powers of darkness, against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. My question to you is, are you ready for the battle or are you naked? I am sorry to tell you, if you are not clothes with the Garment of God, you like many others might be left at the trumpet sound.

We live in a vicious world. But we know every tunnel must have its end. Praise be to God for His son Jesus Christ for it is through Him (and Him alone) that we know we are more than conquerors!! You have to believe it in your heart that no matter how evil or dark this world gets, you are far more GREATER, STRONGER, FASTER, BETTER than he that is of the world. Don't let the debauchery cause you to lose Grace. Keep a sound mind and when the world is telling you to go left, please remember that it is ONLY at the right hand of God can you find pleasures forever more (i.e, Psalm 11:16).

I pray this word brought revelation to your Spirit. As always, be blessed and stay favored!

God's Divine Plan (GDP)

Welcome once again to my blog! As always, it is always a pleasure and a blessing to have you on my page to share the Holy Word of God with you. The message for today will be found in Isaiah 43. But before we go on, let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, YOU who is the All knowing, All seeing God, I pray Lord that your power and divine purpose will take place in the lives of every individual that is reading this blog. God I pray that under the divine authorization and declaration of these words, people's lives will be restored and renewed through this blog. I pray that your DIVINE anointing and perfect plan will take place in the life of this young woman/man. Let your people's hearts be restored and replenished with the good fruits of your kingdom. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

Verse of the Day: See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

I want to begin this blog post by saying that God has a DIVINE plan for your life! How many times in the past month, week, day alone have you tossed and turned about the next stage or season in your life? Some of you reading this have been sitting idle in one position and you have been really asking God to bring you into the next season of your life. Many of you reading have probably tossed and turned on the issue of a new job, a career, a marriage, a better lifestyle, increase in your finances and in your health. I am here to tell you- God's plan for your life is better than you could ever imagine and He has NOT overlooked you. You see, God did not overlook nor did He forget to design a plan for your life.

Think of it as this: God is the manufacturer of your life. Because of this, He saw down the line the parts that you would need to make you whole. As the manufacturer, God pre-ordered things to be established in your life (LITERALLY)!

Sometimes, in waiting for the these things to be established the enemy devises one of the most destructive tactics to detour us from the TRUE DIVINE plan of God: impatience or resistance. Many times over, the devil (who is called the father of lies-see John 8:44) disguises himself as opportunity. There is a proverb in the English language that says "when opportunity knocks, open up." Well, I am here to tell you that not everything that glitters is gold. Young woman/man, God created you with a purpose in mind. Because of this the enemy tries to come in disguise and tries to feed into your mind lies!. He will start to feed into your mind every lie in the book: "you will never be married", "you will not achieve that level of education because no one else in your family did", "you will not have that child", "you will not get the promotion" etc. You see, the devil is the father of lies! He thrives on deception, division, lies and more lies!

I want to tell you today that God is doing a NEW thing in your life! He has plans to prosper you. In Psalm 128:2 God Himself says, "You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you!" Wow, what an amazing promise that is. I want you to know that your life is not a mistake. God has specifically knitted you together for greater purpose and a greater calling! Things might not look as you want it to now, but remember how God says in Isaiah 55:8 that His thoughts are higher than your thoughts! His ways are higher than your ways! No wonder why things are not looking like YOU want them to--because the author and finisher of your faith has constructed better and greater plans for your life.

So the next time the devil tries to plant his deceiving, conniving lies into your head, remind him first of all of his end days (see the book of Revelation) and remind him that God Himself, the author and finisher of your faith has already established and the PERFECT, DIVINE plan for your life.
